On September 23, 2026, Perron Engineering & Consulting met with Louisiana Radio Communications (LRC) to talk about a product LRC is bringing to market: VUE, a modular LED video display system. Every video board that goes outdoors, up on a wall, or over people's heads needs something to hold it up. This meeting had some history behind it. When Perron Engineering was just getting started, Garrett Vincent made office space available to Dustin Perron — a practical gesture at a time when it made a real difference. That early support is part of why a conversation about helping LRC promote VUE felt natural rather than transactional.
A Personal Demonstration of VUE
The best part of the visit was the demonstration. The display in LRC's lobby is a working VUE board, and during the meeting Donnie put the Perron Engineering logo up on it, then switched the background from black to white and back to show how the panels handle contrast and color. Seeing our own branding on the screen, and how quickly the content could be changed, made the product's flexibility obvious in a way a brochure never could. Discussing ATLAS
The conversation also turned to how PEC runs its own work. Dustin walked through ATLAS, the project-management system Perron Engineering uses to track proposals, scope, schedule and deliverables from first contact through closeout, and how it supports the quick turnaround and direct PE access our clients rely on. It was a chance to compare how two technology-minded Louisiana companies organize their operations, and to think about what coordination between a display supplier and an engineering firm could look like on future projects.
